Ingredients
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Directions
  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch dish.
  3. Beat together sugar and butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add bananas, flour, walnuts, eggs, baking soda, vanilla, and salt; mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of cake comes out clean.
  6. Cool completely, then frost as desired.
