Strawberry Milkshake

Description
Save your strawberry ice cream for another time; here frozen strawberries in syrup are blended with creamy vanilla ice cream, rich vanilla paste, and kosher salt for a fresh and fruity diner-style shake.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream (such as bluebell homemade vanilla)
- 1/4 cup frozen sliced strawberries in syrup, thawed
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
- small pinch of kosher salt
- whipped cream, maraschino cherry, and rainbow or candy sprinkles, for garnish
Directions
- Place a 12-ounce milkshake glass or tall glass in the freezer, and chill for at least 15 minutes.
- Process ice cream, strawberries, vanilla bean paste, and salt in a blender on medium speed until smooth, 15 to 20 seconds.
- Pour milkshake into chilled glass. Garnish with whipped cream, cherry, and sprinkles. Serve immediately.
