Pumpkin Burgers

Description
Vegetarian patties made with pumpkin puree and spices—earthy, lightly sweet, and perfect for fall. A creative twist for seasonal or plant-based meals.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup, undiluted
- 1/2 cup canned or cooked pumpkin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 6 hamburger buns, split
Directions
- In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the chili sauce, soup, pumpkin, salt, pumpkin pie spice and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour. Serve on buns.
