Description

A cozy dessert with yellow cake mix, cherry pie filling, and butter layered and slow-baked into a warm, gooey treat. Minimal ingredients, maximum comfort—great with a scoop of ice cream.

Ingredients
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry or apple pie filling
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
  1. Place pie filling in a 1-1/2 qt. slow cooker. Combine dry cake mix and butter (mixture will be crumbly); sprinkle over filling. Sprinkle with walnuts if desired. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Serve in bowls.

Never a fan for chocolate chip i fell in love with the dark chocolate cookie with white chunks and thus the love affair began.
