Grilled Italian Burgers

Burger patties topped with marinara, mozzarella, and pepperoni, combining the best of pizza and burgers. A fun, cheesy, and savory hybrid dish.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons kalamata olives, pitted and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled 1 cup italian bread crumbs
Directions
  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil grate.
  2. Combine the beef, capers, eggs, olives, garlic powder, oregano, feta cheese, and bread crumbs in a bowl. Divide and form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Cook burgers on preheated grill about 6 minutes, turning once, to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (70 degrees C), or to desired doneness.
