Baked Pork Chops

Description
Baked pork chops cook quickly and are paired with a simple pan sauce that you can drizzle over the chops and a side of mashed potatoes. Because the chops are bone-in, they'll turn out incredibly juicy.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 bone-in pork loin chops (3/4 inch thick)
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Brown pork chops on both sides. Transfer to a greased 11x7-in. baking dish; sprinkle with onion.
- In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients; pour over chops. Bake, covered, until a thermometer inserted in pork reads 145°, 15-20 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
