Mock Banana Ice Cream with Coconut Rum Sauce
This is one of my favorite healthy summer treats and it is so simple to make.
Caramelized Bananas
Reminiscent of Bananas Foster, this version is great for when you need a dessert in a hurry. But don't just think of it as dessert; try it on hot golden pancakes for a memorable morning!
Healthy Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins
I was never a fan of “healthifying” anything, I always preferred eating things in moderation, but many of my friends started asking me for recipes that fit their special diets so I decided to give it a go and I came up with these muffins. When I put these in the oven, I was hesitant at first, but they actually turned out quite incredible. Fluffy, not to sweet and perfectly satisfying.
Blackberry Banana Chia Pudding
This is one of our most-used recipes for days when we're busy at work, or are otherwise "on-the-go." We make it when we know we'll have a busy morning, and won't have time to cook. With just a few ingredients, this makes a nice breakfast or a pretty substantial snack.
Dark Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Banana Waffles
These waffles sound like a guilty indulgence but really they only taste like it. Made with no refined sugars, these waffles are primarily sweetened with mashed ripe bananas. Added whey protein and plain greek yogurt makes these a suitable option for a filling breakfast! The dark chocolate chips used in this recipe are stevia sweetened but trust me, if you are opposed to the taste of stevia as I often am, these chocolate chips will suprise you and are worth it! This recipe was created for the Purely Elizabeth Granola Recipe Challenge.
1 BOWL CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA MUFFINS
1 Bowl Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins are moist, tender muffins made in a single bowl, blending ripe mashed bananas, sweet chocolate chips, and simple pantry staples. Easy to whip up, they bake into golden, comforting treats perfect for breakfast or snacking.
Peanut Butter Banana Boat with Caramelized Dates
Growing up, banana boats were my favorite childhood dessert because they are healthy, delicious, and have always satisfied my sweet tooth. This recipe is one of my favorite ways to make banana boats because the caramelized dates add the perfect amount of sweetness and a little bit of toasty, caramelly crunch to this tasty treat!
Banana Date Shake with Tahini
This recipe is adapted from Kathryn Taylor's (author of Cookie + Kate blog) Tahini Date Shake. It's a favorite in our household - super easy, healthy and even my toddler is a fan!
CARAMELISED BANANA AND COCONUT THICK SHAKE
My banana shakes are light, refreshing and use caramelised bananas, which intensifies their flavour. Other roasted fruits such as plums or nectarines would also be delicious and you can use any kind of milk.

BANANA CHOCOLATE AND HAZELNUT BRIOCHE PUDDING
This is one of my favourite desserts ever. Once you get a mouthful of crispy, golden, buttery brioche, a little morsel of caramelised banana, a creamy yet bitter dab of chocolate, and a crunchy hazelnut... oh boy.
Roasted Banana Strawberry Popsicles
Roasting the fruit really makes this popsicles be like the best ever.
Banana Mango Square Bites
This recipe is targeted to eating healthy desserts with fresh ingredients and flavorful components. It includes bananas as the main ingredient with mango for color, mint for great aroma and lots more goodies. I hope you enjoy making this one - again and again.
Banana & Almond Ice Cream
If you haven’t tried making banana ice cream (or nana nice-cream as it’s sometimes called) then you need to give it a go. It’s super delicious and really easy to make. All you need to do is freeze chopped up bananas, then blend them – We absolutely love it. Be sure to use really ripe bananas. They should be quite soft and really sweet, it’s such a great way of using up over ripe bananas too so they don’t go to waste.
Magnolia Bakery s Famous Banana Pudding
"Banana pudding has been around since the late 1800s, when faster steam ships meant bananas could make their way to US ports. It was first made with sponge cake, but by the 1920s, cake was replaced with vanilla wafers. For this recipe, I use Nabisco Nilla wafers and strongly recommend you don't make any substitutions to ensure you get the same crave-worthy texture of this iconic dessert."
banana&caramel tart with coconut whipped cream
This is my take on Banoffee Pie, topped with a coconut whipped cream. I make my own Dulce de Leche by boiling an unopened can of condensed milk in a pressure cooker halfway filled with water for 40 minutes. Dulce de Leche can also be purchased ready-made in jars at your local specialty food store.
